We recently had the pleasure of Photographing and Videoing another stunning wedding in the fabulous surroundings of the Citywest Hotel. We love recording weddings at this venue for it’s beautiful location at the foot of the Dublin mountains, fabulous interiors, variety of outdoor locations, extremely helpful wedding co-ordinator (Gerard Skelly) and hotel staff. Here’s our top tips to choosing a venue that will Photograph & Video well and capture the true essence of your special day:

A variety of appealing outdoor locations with plenty of natural light will mean better photos. Also sets the stage to telling the story of your wedding day.
Indoor locations with good natural lighting act as a contingency to the unpredictable Irish weather.
Time of day for your ceremony will also influence the daytime lighting at your wedding venue. Winter ceremonies should start earlier than Summer.
Choose a venue with a good wedding co-ordinator to assist with smooth running of the wedding shoot.
